The actualised vision of The Ladies Fellowship grew out of a heart-felt desire (that was also
prophesied) for the women of God in The URF to simply get together to learn how to glorify God in dance movement and bible
study. Age is an irrelevant subject matter in this Group - as indeed the majority of ladies fall into the category of
'grandmother!' But you could never guess - looking at their youthful countenances (hey what's your secret?)!
Indeed we have many multi-talented ladies in this group one or two of whom even sew their own costumes for public dance events.
Kudos to these wonderful and brave ladies.
There have been quite a few prophecies that out of this simple gathering
of ladies by the leading and empowerment of the Holy Spirit a dynamic dance ministry would evolve. And only by the grace
of God that is what's happening.
The Group began in 2001 and meets every Tuesday
starting 9:30am until 4:00pm Kensington Park Condominiums Function Room.
The Lord has raised up dance teacher after dance
teacher for them. God has planned everything. All they had to do was pray! And I mean that really! We have been
quite pleasantly 'surprised' by how amazing Our God Is - and just how incredible He Is in both the way and speed he answers
prayers! The ladies have learned the following dance styles:
- Line-dancing
- Tambourine
- Prophetic dancing; and now
- Flag dancing!
They have even performed a few times for The
URF during Christian celebration events.
The ladies feel the tangible presence of God
every time. Often the Lord will manifest His presence during the times of worship - and studying of His Word. Jesus
Christ has visited us quite a few times. The honour of these events is really beyond any description. Many
of the ladies have even begun to see visions! Wow! Release the anointing. Let the anointing flow.
Manifest the anointing.
