We will update
this section soon which will include pointers on how you can help your
C
through the light of Christ.
One of the biggest and yet truly
and greatly under-rated enemies in Western or Westernised nations is the spirit of 'nominalistic Christian behaviour' - one
of the many faces of deception whose ultimate face is satan.
The Lord has called us to not only the nations but to
every part of the world: and that begins in your own home and community amen.
Pray, as guided by the Holy Spirit and well equipped with the Word of God, against the
spirits of 'nominalistic Christian behaviour', familiarity and complacency in your area in Jesus's Mighty Name amen!
Prayer
walk your area - or better yet pray ALL THE TIME - I believe that Jesus Himself did this all the time - and the demons
were COMPLETELY AND IMMEDIATELY subject unto Him: "Then they sailed to
the country of the Gadarenes, which is opposite Galilee. And when He stepped out on the land, there met
Him a certain man from the city who had demons for a long time. And he wore no clothes, nor did he live in a house but in
the tombs. When he saw Jesus, he cried out, fell down before Him, and with a loud voice said, "What have I to do
with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me!"
Luke 8:26-28 (italicised emphasis by URF)
Why did they cry out? Because they could not at all
stand up to the almighty power of the Son of God: Christ Jesus. Your neighbour may not yet know Christ (in the reality
and fullness of His Love) but even the demons do.
Why did they meet Him? Because "...it
is written: "As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue confess to God." Romans 14:11.
Luke 19:40
But He answered and said to them, "I
tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out."
God is so indescribably great
that nothing, including demons, can be in His full presence and not acknowledge Him as God. Either lovingly or
rejectingly. Full stop.
When darkness faces the light at the dawning of
every new day for example, there must come a point where both meet...but then a wonderful thing happens! Lightness
seems to overpower dark or the dark seems to rapidly 'melt' away...and the fact that darkness never really existed
becomes...wonderfully...realised.
Light gives life. And hope.
Darkness gives blindness.
Children know this more than adults ('boogie monster'),
that is why our Lord many times began his advice with the words "little children." As children, we see the reality of
and the wonderment in things. It follows that the kingdom of heaven, infinite in all its Godly and divine glories and to
be entered in as little children, must be simply beyond description...
Fully armed with the living Word of God, embracing
a holy life and empowered by the Holy Spirit, you've got nothing 'real' to fear when
you encounter demons because "you are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater
than he who is in the world." 1 John 4:4.
What a wonderful promise, amen!
